What was done to save the wildlife

A successful initiative by Valentin Gruener have managed to change the situation a little. He collaborated with William De Graff, the owner of Grassland Safari Lodge to build up a temporary area for the lions. Hence, the lions now have temporary homes where they have enough preys to feed on and yet would not come in conflict with the farmers, ensuring that they would not be killed by the local farmers. They were also protected with the assistance of passionate volunteers who ensured their welfare and safety.

Now, the human-animal conflict in Botswana is slowly disappearing and other more initiatives plans are ongoing to save the rest of the animals in Botswana. Hopefully, all of these are still not too late.
