Nobel Peace Prize

The 2007 Nobel Peace Prize was awarded to Al Gore and the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) on their efforts to disseminate information on climate change and global warming.

The Nobel Committee has listed Al Gore as one who has constantly been showing the people and the government on the need to focus on climate change. Hi efforts have been seen through his books, environment campaigns and film and thus recognized by the panel through this award, which is shared with IPCC.
