Indo-Myanmar Conservation (IMC)

IMC is governed by 3 trustees – Jakes Brunner, Tim Thornton-Jones and Time Appleton. IMC has offices in London and Yangon-Myanmar and they aim to raise funds from United States donors to fund Myanmar’s conservation projects.

They aim to prevent the extinction of threatened wildlife, such as elephants in Indo-Myanmar Hotspot. They understand that they have to channel their resources to local communities to help protect endangered wildlife and promote sustainable livelihood and development alternatives (Indo-Myanmar Conservation, 2008).
