New Knowledge and Discourse

It’s all good knowing what should be done, how things should be. However, this knowledge has to be translated into action and the first step is to get leaders of nations aware of the current ecological crisis, the mistakes they are making which perpetuate this crisis, and how they can rectify them.

Using Islamic teachings and principles as a basis for further discussions and research, and also as a strong motivator to take action, Islamic thinkers from both religious and secular sectors of the international community have begun to converse about what needs to be done to save the earth.

I’ve included some of products of these discussions in this tab. They are mainly the Islamic Environmental Paradigm, proposed by Islam (2012), and the 2015 Islamic Declaration on Global Climate Change, a huge step in a greener direction for Muslims across the world.
