Enriching Public Life in Jurong East

Taking a critical lens to everyday urban life in Jurong East

About

In this studio, students were encouraged to take a critical lens to Jurong East as both a familiar urban environment and a site of imminent and ongoing urban transition in order to understand better how even the quotidian experience of urban life informs us on the impacts of urbanism, and from there suggest possible design interventions to build connections and enhance community life in Jurong East.
