Driven by a deep belief in the social responsibility of scholarship, Prof. May has devoted her career to shaping research, education, and public discourse in Singapore and beyond. Within NTU, she has held pivotal roles including Chair of WKWSCI, Associate Dean, and Director of the University Scholars Programme. Beyond academic environs, she has served on the Singapore Social Science Research Council, Media Literacy Council, and key health and safety committees, reflecting a commitment to population well-being. Internationally, she contributes to global research and communication networks.
