Introduction

The faculty of the Marketing Division (MKT) is global and diverse, with more than half hailing from North America, Europe and the Asia-Pacific region. A good proportion of our faculty members have extensive business experience and many continue to consult for major corporations in the region, bringing to their teaching and research industry-relevant scholarship. We support our students’ activities through the MarkeTHINK club.

We also serve the academic community by engaging in professional activities, forming relationships with industry through research collaborations and securing professional training for our students.

The division has grown in terms of faculty and student numbers. Faculty who joined the division in 2018 include Boey Yew Tung, Chen Yupeng, Mansur Khamitov, Eunsoo Kim and Caleb Tse. We also welcome back our long serving faculty Hooi Den Huan. The division has also garnered a number of accolades. Our faculty continues to extend the list of honours and awards. In 2018, Dr Lewis Lim and Dr Charlene Chen won the division’s Teaching Excellence and Research Excellence Award respectively; Dr Elison Lim was conferred the Nanyang Education Award (School) for teaching excellence. In 2019, Dr Charlene Chen and Dr Shi Hongyan won the division’s Teaching Excellence and Research Excellence Award respectively.
