We are seeking an Education Specialist/Trainer to fulfill the following responsibilities:
• Conduct training workshops and activities for teachers, educators, and education specialists
• Develop training manuals and user guides
• Product testing and documentation
• Develop training workshops and programmes
• Provide product support to customer
• Project management and customer liaison
• Provide pedagogy and curriculum consultancy services
• Gather user requirements relating to educational needs
• Work with development team to translate user needs into use cases
• Enhance taxonomy and thesauri on meta-data educational content

Requirements:
• Degree or higher in Education or a Masters in Information Studies/Knowledgement Management
• Min. of 8 years of service in the education sector or information (library) industry
• Holds or has held a position as Head of Department in the education sector
• Has knowledge of problem-based learning pedagogical approach
• Has conducted training or workshops for adult learners
• Has a strong interest in learning management system or has researched on various learning management systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Mature and independent
• Project management skills
• An understanding of international standards on meta-data creation and taxonomy is an advantage.
