Converging Knowledge is a boutique research firm specialising in commercial research and intelligence gathering for the corporate advisory and investment professionals in Singapore, Hong Kong and Malaysia. We are looking for suitably qualified Research Assistants and Analysts, to work full-time and based in Singapore and Kuala Lumpur. Candidates have to be enthusiastic individuals with good interpersonal, telephone and writing skills, and are interested in meticulous commercial and industry research. Please note that all applicants are required to undertake a written test.

Responsibilities:
• Collection, collation and analysis of information from the research of open-source records to support research projects
• Production of research reports and presentations in English
• Managing and conducting complex projects throughout the Asia-Pacific region;
• Proficiency in information databases such as Nexis, Factiva, Bloomberg an advantage
• Working closely with in-house researchers

Requirements:
• You are likely to have obtained a tertiary education in a respectable university
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Proficient in another Asian language, preferably Mandarin, Bahasa Indonesia, Malay or Thai
• Strong communication skills and pleasant telephone manner
• Keen interest in research and/or business, financial and political news
• Demonstrate strong analytical, writing and presentation skills
