Singaporeans used to live in kampongs in the past, and one key aspect of kampong living was for the community to share resources and help each other, not only to save money but also bring neighbors closer and build a strong network of support (“kampong spirit”).

With the advent of the internet, individuals are connected from one end of planet to another, however it also leaves the possibility that our nearest neighbors turn out to be the most distant people.

An online to meetup face to face mobile application, titled “SHARE IT” is proposed to allow younger generation living in Housing Development Board (HDB) flats to have in person interaction by sharing their food, tools and equipment, and expertise with each other and bring back the “kampong spirit”
