We as a group believes that the questions set for the individual assessment should be handed as hard copy materials instead of PowerPoint slides to each student.
The rationale being that each student takes a certain time to read and understand the question. This time taken to digest the question differs student to student and the physical copy would help those who take longer to not be at a disadvantage. In addition, the length of the questions are different. It gets quite frustrating when short question were given the same time as long questions… We often find ourselves waiting for them to pass, but struggle in catching up for the long ones and this hinders our ability to answer the question.
Despite not being environmentally friendly, we believe it would solve the problem of finding the perfect time per slide and greatly improve our learning during the lecture.
