Under-reaction:
We often hear that the only resource Singapore has is its people. This is an under-statement. We have been taught so well that that is what we perceive as all that we have neglecting the habitats and inhabitants that we actually still have.

We are suffering from primary bias; underestimating the high probability of us losing our biodiversity, underestimating the threats of rapid urbanization and globalization in Singapore. Existence and magnitude of a problem should not be defined the amount of media coverage a subject receives, knowledge is our only aiding tool to correctly assess and access information.
