The NTU Open Research Awards 2022 will be given away to recognise and reward NTU researchers who have used open research to make their scientific contents, tools and processes more open, accessible, transparent and reproducible, or incorporated it in their teaching practices.

Open research (used interchangeably with the term ‘open science’) encompasses the following:

  • Open methods
  • FAIR data
  • Open codes
  • Open access
  • Open educational resources
  • Open infrastructures

NTU researchers are welcome to nominate themselves or their NTU colleagues for the NTU Open Research Awards 2022. Nominators and nominees are strongly encouraged to register and attend the inaugural Singapore Open Research Conference on 2 November 2022.

Nominations close on 19 September 2022.

Eligibility criteria:

  • NTU research projects, research infrastructures or teaching practices that have significantly demonstrated the adoption or promotion of open research best practices in their own or across subject disciplines. These would include making their scientific contents, tools, and processes more open, accessible, transparent, and reproducible.
  • For NTU principal investigators, post-doc research staff and PhD students only.
