We visited stores both on-site and online to determine the best configuration needed for our initial prototype. Parts have to be compatible and optimized so that the drone can perform well, especially since our drone is built for speed.
This part of the project was done mostly during weeks 1-3 but also during the course of the project, as multiple prototypes had to be made and many things had to be changed.
