The container for our payload had to be 3D printed, as we realized that there would not be a container available for purchase that fit our specifications. The most important part of the box would be the spacers directly attached to it, which were needed for the servos to exert the force on the box.
As this project is mostly a proof-of-concept project, we wanted the box to fit the drone’s bottom plate exactly, so that there would not be additional drift or center-of-gravity changes to the drone from the box.
