My Daylight is an interactive table lamp that replicates the positive sensation of daylight and opens up dark, claustrophobic spaces through the projection of light and shadow onto the table. The shape of the lamp can be transformed to allow the users to manipulate the pattern of the shadow casted onto the table and the amount and quality of light radiating out. Ultimately, this project explores new ways to create the illusion of daylight through unexpected interactivity.
