Blog admins are now able to activate more plugins on their own without submitting a request to us. Previously, only a few plugins could be activated by blog admins. Do note that these plugins were already available at our network and were not plugins requested by users. As per usual, installation of external plugins by blog admins is prohibited.
To activate, please go to your blog’s Dashboard > Plugins. Find the plugin and click on the Activate button. Click here for more info.
Glossary of terms in this context:
- Plugin: Additional function that could be added to the blog.
- Activate: Enabling or disabling pre-installed plugins.
- Installation: Admins of self-hosted sites could install any plugins. In our case, this feature has been disabled.
