It is no secret that overpopulation stands to threaten life on Earth as we know it.

As elucidated by Prof. J.T. Trevors in his 2009 article The Total Abuse of the Earth, planetary abuse in the form of extraction of hydrocarbons from the Earth and depositing the gasses and particulates in the atmosphere, oceans, soils, and bodies of animals make up an already-irreparable sum of damage that has been impacted upon the Earth. Due to the human addiction to oil, consumption of resources, waste, and pollution, this problem is aggravates exponentially as the world population increases by the millions each year.

The pages contained in this section serve to illustrate the hard facts about eco-crises as impacted by human population growth.
