NTU Library T.E.A.C.H – a guide to the library’s Tools, E-resources, Access, Course Reserves and Help
Post-webinar notes

Librarians from NTU Library took the opportunity to introduce faculty to the latest updates in NTU full text tools as well as other library services and resources during NTU Library’s T.E.A.C.H webinar, which occured over 2 half days on 7 July and 8 July 2020 via Zoom. We had a great turnout of 98 engaged attendees for this webinar. During the inaugural Zoom webinar, participants had opportunities to interact virtually with the librarians and also ask questions via the Zoom live chat. You can access the webinar slides by clicking on the topics in the schedule table above.

Besides an overview of eresources and libguides, the virtual seminar consists of an introduction to research tools such as Browzine, LibBookmark and LibGenie as well as a quick overview of NTU CourseReserves — the Library’s new upcoming Course Reserves system.

Here are some key highlights from the webinar:
1. Digital transformation means that users can use tools such as Browzine and LibBookmark to access library subscribed eresources on the go easily via their mobile devices
2. Faculty can schedule a customized library session for their classes by contacting the Library
3. NTU CourseReserves is a one stop platform to easily access and effectively organize Reading Lists for teaching and learning
4. The Library’s OneSearch catalogue allows users to personalize and save searches based on their research needs

Look out for more upcoming webinars on our Library’s Workshops & Events page.
