DR-NTU, the Digital Repository of Nanyang Technological University, is set up to capture, store and showcase the scholarly outputs of the university. By showcasing and disseminating the research outputs of NTU researchers and students, DR-NTU aims to open up NTU’s research to the world and facilitate research collaboration with the increased visibility.
Students are required to submit their theses or final year project reports to DR-NTU for sharing. Please note that your submission should not contain personal, confidential or sensitive information. You can either anonymize or remove it from your work before submission. Under some special circumstances, e.g. your work is pending publication or patent application, you may request an embargo for up to 2 years. If your work contains confidential or sensitive information despite attempts to anonymize or remove it, you may request an exemption from submission.
Follow 5 simple steps for embargo/exemption requests.
- Fill in the request form.
- Get your supervisor to sign and endorse your request form.
- Email the completed request form to NTU Library at library@ntu.edu.sg and copy to your supervisor.
- The Library will revert within 3 working days.
- Once approved,
- For Embargo: follow the Library’s instructions to submit and set embargo to your work in DR-NTU.
- For Exemption: you are exempted and do not need to submit your work or the metadata record in DR-NTU.
