2. Energise yourself – Recharge your devices, energise your muscles and vitalise your mind when you pedal the Greenbikes at Lee Wee Nam Library.
While preparing for finals, it can be helpful to energise your body with physical exercises, which are known to improve learning performance by increasing alertness, enabling better focus, decreasing sleepiness, and combating exam anxiety. Check out the Greenbikes (stationary pedal bikes) at NTU Library, which can help you transform from a couch potato to a power potato, while recharging your electronic devices at the same time. That’s right, the Greenbikes are also charging stations that turn human kinetic energy into usable electrical power for your laptops, tablets or mobile phones as you pedal. Another tip: Why not accompany your pedal session with some good music in your earphones to calm, de-stress and motivate yourself?
3. Reward yourself – Get a treat to motivate yourself to study and reach your milestones.
It can be physically and mentally taxing to study for long hours. Even as you work hard, remember to take breaks in between. Treat yourself to your favourite comfort drink while studying – like a hot coffee to keep your mind alert, a delightful chocolate frappe to boost your endorphin levels, or a refreshing fruit juice smoothie to keep your immunity up. In fact, rewarding yourself can also help you to remember things better. Do remember to keep your drinks covered when bringing them to the library, let’s keep our spaces clean for each other.
4. Seat yourself – NTU Library has 7 libraries with a variety of study spaces. Check out our bookable facilities at http://bit.ly/NTULibFacilities
