Position: Reference Librarian / Librarian

(4-month Contract: Jan – Apr 2012)
(Ref: HR4)

The Tanoto Library is seeking a dynamic and committed individual whose sole responsibility will be the provision of reference and research services for the INSEAD community.

Supporting the teaching, research and business activities of mainly the Asia Campus, you are expected to have a business background and be well-versed in business information sources. This position will also require you to conduct user training sessions and promote the use of library resources.

The successful candidate should possess the following qualifications and qualities:
• A Master’s Degree in Library Information Science or equivalent.
• 1 – 3 years of relevant experience in research, library reference work preferred. You may be considered for a Librarian position if
you do not have the relevant experience.
• Knowledge of information resources especially business and financial databases.
• Strong information search and presentation skills.
• Flexible, adaptable and able to work well in a multi-cultural environment.
• Enthusiastic, innovative and a team player.
