On 8 and 9 February, the management of LKCMedicine brought Lunar New Year cheer to staff and students at both campuses. At the Experimental Medicine Building, LKCMedicine Dean Professor Joseph Sung, together with Professor Philip Ingham and Associate Professor Kevin Pethe, distributed festive goodies and conveyed well wishes to the staff who are stationed there. Over at the Clinical Sciences Building (CSB), Prof Sung unveiled his hidden talent in Chinese calligraphy and wrote Chinese greetings with firm and swift strokes. He also guided Associate Professors Yusuf Ali and Sanjay Chotimall in making their debut in this art form. Former Dean Professor James Best gave his blessings to Prof Sung’s pieces with a final stroke. The event at CSB was attended by a small pool of staff in adherence to current staff current safe management measures. Some lucky ones got to bring home the calligraphy pieces in a lucky draw. The LKCMedicnie management once again wishes one and all a happy, healthy and prosperous Year of the Tiger.
