Opened in August 2013, the interim Medical Library was an integral part of the School community. To prepare students for real clinical settings, the Medical Library is actively involved with the School’s innovative pedagogic teaching practice of delivering medical curriculum through team-based learning which is used in library instruction.

To support the School’s pioneering medical curriculum and research needs, the library’s emphasis on collection building for medical resources (books, journals, audiovisual materials and databases) is geared towards the electronic format. Although the collection will be primarily focused on medicine and clinical practices, the library is building resources that explore the interface between medicine, science, engineering, business and the humanities, underpinning the School’s philosophy of redefining medicine and transforming healthcare.

From an interim Medical Library we have now moved to our new Medical Library which was set up in 2016. We are now located on the 20th floor, Clinical Sciences Building.
