PsycINFO indexes bibliographic citations and abstracts for all areas of psychology.
This includes experimental and developmental, communications, social processes and issues, personality, physical and psychological disorders, professional issues, applied psychology, educational psychology, and behavioral literature in such related fields as law and business.
NTU Library’s subscription to PsycINFO database is through the EbscoHost platform.
PsychINFO is available on the Database list under the subject “Social Sciences”, accessible on the NTU library’s homepage. To learn how to search for databases using the

On EBSCOHost, the default search opens in Advanced Search, with the guided style search boxes as well as limiters and expanders.
The Guided Style search boxes allow you to simultaneously search for articles using different terms in various article citation fields, such as subject, author, and title. Choose the All Text field to search within the full text of all articles for your terms. If you need more than three search boxes for your terms, you can use the Plus button to add more.
In the Search Options area, the Advanced Search offers additional search limiters for increased result refinement. These are below the Guided Style boxes. Click Search to view the Result List. Alternatively, you may key in your search first and later filter your search using the column on the left of your search results.
For more precise searching, use the Thesaurus. This allows you to browse for subject terms to search the database with. Subject terms are assigned based on article content, allowing you to create a targeted search.
In addition, you can print, email, save, cite or export multiple results. First, you would have to add them to the folder, then click the appropriate icon inside the folder. Folder contents can be permanently saved by clicking on the Sign In link, and then creating a personalized My EBSCOhost folder account.
