This log displays most of the problems we have encountered and decisions we have made regarding the 3D design of the various components.
The parts that require 3D printing include:
1. Eppendorf rack (the original one purchased was too unstable)
2. Syringe parts (attachment to the motor)
3. Pipette parts (attachment to the motor and to depress the plunger)
4. Motor backing (to hold NEMA17 stepper motor, Machifit linear rail and various adapters together)
5. Linear rail & slide (to reduce the load on the Z-axis of the 3D printer)
6. Micropipette & microsyringe system base (to hold all experiment apparatus)
