The Z-axis sliding plate is one of the few alternatives in the case our other linear rails are unable to be used.
The pros and cons of the Z-axis sliding plate are as follow:

➕ More stable as the whole sliding plate is made up of metal parts
➖ Relatively heavier (approximately 700 – 800 grams)
