The initial idea for our project was to use servo motor to control the pressing down motion of the micropipette.
However, this idea was rejected as the smaller servo motors do not have sufficient force to press down on the micropipette plunger. Additionally, our RAMPS 1.4 control board only allows control for stepper motors and not servo motors.
