Since we were unsure that the X- and Z-axis of the Creality Ender 3 3D printer would be able to manage the weight of the stepper motor and syringe/pipette, we purchased a CNC machine which we know would be able to do so due to its very stable chassis.
We received the CNC machine in various parts, and took a day to assemble it.
However, after upgrading the Z-axis in the Creality Ender 3, it is strong enough to support the weight of the stepper motor on the X-axis, hence we decided not to change our chassis to the CNC machine.
