This design is too unstable.
Model for testing purposes
We did several refinements to the hole size to ensure a good fit (not too tight and not too loose). The staircase model was not our prototype but we used it to recognise the different diameters of each hole.
Prototype 2
This prototype was designed to allow the Eppendorf tubes to fit into a particular orientation when we place it in any orientation. However, we decided not to use this design because it did not work as expected.
Prototype 3
This prototype has the right size and dimension. However, we decided to reprint the model and incorporate it directly to the base. See Micropipette & Microsyringe system base to view the final design of the base.
