In this section, elements of conservation psychology will be used to discuss how the conservation projects can help in altering human behavior.
The conservation psychology elements are:
- Internal and external factors
- Environmental education and place-based education
- Impacts of learning and attitudes through managed nature
It has to be noted that no single strategy will be effective in achieving the desired result. It is advised that the use of several strategies simultaneously would be more effective in increasing the chances of changing people’s mindset and attitudes in displaying positive behaviors towards conservation.
