A​ ​young​ ​girl​ sits alone​ ​by​ ​the​ ​campfire,​ ​she​ ​reads​ ​a​ ​children’s​ ​book​ ​about​ ​monsters,​ ​when she​ ​hears​ ​rustling​ ​behind​ ​her.​ ​Looking​ ​around,​ ​she​ ​sees​ ​nothing​ ​and​ ​resumes​ ​the​ ​night.

She​ ​encounters​ ​a​ ​creature​ ​who​ ​comes​ ​forward​ ​and​ ​places iridescent​ ​purple-pink​ ​berries​ ​on the floor​before​ it ​disappears. ​The​ ​creature​ ​returns​ ​with​ ​more berries​ ​but​ ​the​ ​girl​ ​rejects​ ​them​ ​and​ ​unknowingly​ ​pushes​ ​the​ ​creature​ ​to​ ​the​ ​ground.​ ​The creature,​ ​slighted,​ ​starts​ ​circling​ ​the​ ​camp​ ​and​ ​pounces​ ​on​ ​the​ ​girl,​ ​force​ ​feeding​ ​the​ ​berries. The​ ​girl​ ​fights​ ​back,​ ​injures​ ​the​ ​creature​ ​but​ ​faints.

The​ ​girls​ ​wakes​ ​up​ ​to​ ​see​ ​a​ ​figure​ ​of​ ​an​ ​injured​ ​boy​ ​running​ ​away.​ ​She​ ​looks​ ​at​ ​her​ ​hands​ ​and sees​ ​them​ ​turning​ ​blue​ ​and​ ​furry,​ ​just​ ​like​ ​the​ ​creature.
