This project explores the meta relationship between serpents and the female on a universal level and on a micro or personal level, how it shapes my identity. Exploring legends of the Javanese snake women I will create a book and an illustrated painting of a mythical map which will convey an autobiographical narrative about my Java- Singapore culture.
