Private-Internet Privacy

Abstract or Summary of Project

We are living in the age of the internet, where information can be easily obtained with the click of a finger. However, not enough of us are consciously keeping in mind that we are paying for these “free” services that brings us immense convenience with our privacy. We continue to do this because the effects of privacy loss is abstract and far removed from the immediate gratification the internet gives us. The installation aims to contextualize the sheer amount of personal information we give up with each “transaction” and hopefully get people thinking the next time they surf.
