Cambodian Elephants

Elephants are often illegally poached and hunted for their highly priced husks. In recent years, encroachments of Cambodian wildlife areas for varying purposes, such as human settlement, agriculture, mining and construction of hydroelectric dams, have vastly destroyed the elephants’ habitat and increased human-elephant conflict. This has exacerbated the dire situation of elephant decline.

Wildlife Warriors works alongside Fauna & Flora International (FFI) in Cambodia, funding strategies that aim to safeguard the elephant habitat and hopefully, recover these second largest land animals.
