Throughout the world, in an effort to save the bee population, many countries have adopted different strategies to bring awareness of the threats that humans are creating for the bees.
One example is last year in Chicago, a consumer watchdog organization, SumOfUs.org ran bus ads on the buses in the Chicago metropolitan area to bring awareness of how a pesticide called neonicotinoid are causing lethal threats to the bee population. Also in the same year, the European Union (EU) has passed the votes of banning the use of neonticotinoid pesticides.
However, these efforts are not sufficient in reducing the declination of the bee population. Nevertheless, we still have a chance to make things right and several recommendations have been made in order to push forward the conservation of the honey bees.
