The purpose of creating a Research Commons is to provide a “third space” for graduate students and researchers that is outside of their labs, classrooms, homes and dormitories. We hope that such a space can help them discover new ideas, find collaborators, share their findings and showcase their work to a broader university community.

The Research Commons will be located at Lee Wee Nam Library level 2 study area. The study area will be closed for construction starting from Wed, 19 Oct 16 and is expected to complete by June/July 2017. The Learning Commons and Print Shop at level 2 will remain open throughout the construction period.

Please take note that noisy works are expected from 5 Dec 16 to 31 Dec 16.
