Elephant Parade Singapore 2011

Elephant Parade Singapore 2011 is a 2 month outdoor art exhibition on over 100 brightly coloured elephants, which are decorated and hand painted by celebrities and artists.

Elephant Parade was organised after founder Marc Spits and his son Mike visited FAE hospital in Thiland and saw a first baby elephant receive a prosthetic limb. This Parade began in 2006 and more than 1000 elephants have been created.

Elephant Parade Singapore 2011 was held on 11 November 2011 (11/11/11) and it had won the prestigious ‘Singapore Marketing Events Award 2012’ in the category Best Consumer Event (Elephant Parade International, 2011). Don’t you wish you were there to witness this amazing moment?

Some of these elephants were adopted at an auction held between 8 January 2012 and 11 January 2012 at Bukit Timah Core, Singapore Botanic Gardens (near the Botanic Gardens MRT Station) between 9am to 8pm.
